PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iris authentication system that can improve the reliability of authentication using irises and the safety of iris patterns showing personal feature amounts.SOLUTION: A pickup image including an iris of a registered person and a time series pickup image of an eye of the registered person and the periphery thereof are acquired. From the acquired time series pickup image of the eye and the periphery thereof, conscious and unconscious eye dynamic movement amounts of the registered person are acquired. In addition, from the acquired conscious and unconscious eye dynamic movement amounts of the registered person, the conscious and unconscious eye dynamic feature amounts of the registered person are extracted in a dynamic movement amount and feature amount extraction part 3. By using the extracted conscious and unconscious eye dynamic feature amounts of the registered person as key data for encryption, iris pattern feature amounts of the registered person, which are extracted from the pickup image including the iris in an iris pattern feature amount extraction part 2, are encrypted and registered in an iris pattern feature amount registration database 6. |
