The arrangement has pedals provided with a pedal lever, where a pedal surface is connected with the lever. The lever is hinged and swingable from a rest position around an operation axis. An adjuster is operatively coupled with the lever for displacement of the pedals with respect to a direction of action and/or for adjusting response of the pedals. A locking device is operatively coupled at the pedals for inhibition of the pedals in the direction of action. The adjuster comprises an actuator unit i.e. electromechanical actuator unit, for displacement of the pedals in the direction of action. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a motor car (2) an adjustment method for a pedal arrangement of a motor car.
