The invention relates to a short-term earthquakes forecast and is aimed at monitoring an abnormal variations of gravitation constant values prior to large earthquakes in all directions at 45° relative each other, gravity force and slope of earth surface, minimum in three monitoring sites. The registered gravity anomaly are identified with passing tectonic waves beneath the monitoring sites and determine location of epicenter, a magnitude thereof, initiation time period and a number of forecasted earthquakes. A device for earthquake forecast comprises a vacuum chamber, suspended therein a pair of perpendicularly arranged rocking arms with small weights at ends, two large weights positioned between the rocking arms, a gravimeter, a system of registration of the rocking arms and the gravimeter deviations, a second pair of suspended rocking arms with small weights at ends, two large weights positioned between the rocking arms, wherein the second pair system is turned at 45° relative to the first pair and a tilt indicator is mounted on the device base. |
