The trailer which is transformable into a boat comprises two half bodies (1,2) which have in their contact zone a recess for housing a polymer air bag (11). The bag is fixed and made airtight to the half body (2) under a hinge (3) by a system of joints and rivets (15). A compression spring (12) housed inside the bag is supported on the inclined bottom of a conical housing (13) in the half body. The spring is also supported on a metal plate (14) inside the bag so as to distribute the force and prevent the bag from being holed by the spring. The spring is inclined and slightly arched so as to be easily compressed when the cover is opened to form the boat. When the two half bodies are opened out to form the boat the bag is compressed between them so as to absorb shocks.
