PURPOSE: A natural product-derived cosmetic material for alleviating and treating acne is provided to enable long-term use without resistance and to minimize side effects. CONSTITUTION: A natural product-derived cosmetic material for alleviating and treating acne contains a mixture of a microbial surfactant and a vegetable natural material. The microbial surfactant contains rhamnolipid which is prepared by: inoculating Pseudomonas aeruginosa into a culture medium containing CaCl_2, Na_2HPO_4, NaCl, NH_4Cl, MgSO_4, and glucose; culturing the strain at 35 °C for 75 hours and centrifuging to obtain a strain-removed culture liquid; precipitating the culture liquid with a hydrochloric acid solution; and extracting a precipitate with ethyl ether and evaporating. The vegetable natural material is a Chamaecyparis obtusa extract which is prepared by pulverizing Chamaecyparis obtusa and Chamaecyparis obtusa leaves, adding a solvent and heating, and cooling the generated vapor.
