PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic cooling device and a control method for the same.SOLUTION: This magnetic cooling device provides a more simple structure by replacing a motor and a power transmission system providing driving force in a reciprocation type magnetic cooling device and a rotation type magnetic cooling device. The magnetic cooling device includes magnets forming magnetic field, magnetic reproducing sections made of magneto-caloric substance, provided with coils, and obtaining kinetic energy from electromagnetic force generated in supplying electric current to the coils in the magnetic field, and a control section controlling the electric current supplied to the coils for controlling moving speed and moving direction of the magnetic reproducing sections. |
