<p>Processing, preferably softening, germinating and kilning cereal grain material, comprises: placing grain material present on a conveyor belt (1) on multiple levels (E1-E6) of a tape-tray device for a specified time interval, where the levels are located one above the other; moving the conveyor belt to the lowest level by itself for conveying the grain material present on the conveyor belt; and moving the conveyor belt of a level (E5) located above the conveyor belt of the lowest level (E6) such that the grain material present on the conveyor belt of (E5) reaches the conveyor belt of (E6). Processing, preferably softening, germinating and kilning cereal grain material, comprises: placing grain material present on a conveyor belt (1) on multiple levels (E1-E6) of a tape-tray device for a specified time interval, where the levels are located one above the other; moving the conveyor belt to the lowest level (sixth level) by itself for conveying the grain material present on the conveyor belt; and moving the conveyor belt of a further level (E5) located above the conveyor belt of the lowest level such that the grain material present on the conveyor belt of the further level (E5) reaches the conveyor belt of the lowest level. An independent claim is also included for an apparatus for carrying out the above mentioned method, comprising multiple superimposed levels, each including a movable conveyor belt and a control device, where the control device, the conveyor belts of the multiple layers are movable for loading the grain material from one conveyor belt of one level to the conveyor belt of the other levels, which are located one above the other at specified time intervals.</p> |
