PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain detection accuracy of a shift finger position.SOLUTION: In a transmission, shift lugs 40a-40d are moved selectively in the shift direction to change speed when shift fingers 57 and 56 are moved in the select direction and the shift direction inside a casing 51 and pillar parts 41a-41d are pressed in the shift direction. In the transmission, a select direction stopper 90 regulating a select directional movement of the shift finger 57 and a first shift direction stopper 91 regulating a shift directional movement of the shift finger 57 in the select position wherein a movement is regulated by the select direction stopper 90 are provided on the wall surface of the casing 51. A reference position of a first sensor 80 is corrected based on the select position of the shift finger 57 detected by the first sensor 80 while a movement of the shift finger 57 is regulated by the select direction stopper 90, and a reference position of a second sensor 81 is corrected based on the shift position of the shift finger 57 detected by the second sensor 81 while a movement of the shift finger 57 is regulated by the first shift direction stopper 91. |
