The roller assembly has clamping units (5,6) that are arranged on an outer circumferential surface (4) of a roll base (1) coaxial to a driving axle (2). The clamping units have inner rings (7,8) with a wedge shaped inner surfaces and outer rings (9,10) with a wedge shaped inner surfaces. The wedge shaped inner surface of the outer ring rests on the wedge shaped inner surface of the inner ring such that the inner and outer rings are displaced relative to each other. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing grinding roller assembly.
