PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for appropriate adjustment of white balance when a strobe light is emitted in water.SOLUTION: An imaging device for correcting white balance for the image picked up by a strobe light emission comprises: subject region specification means for specifying a subject region irradiated with strobe light by strobe light emission; first white balance coefficient calculation means for calculating a first white balance coefficient on the basis of a strobe light quantity and an external light quantity with respect to the subject region specified by the subject region specification means; subject distance calculation means for calculating a subject distance when imaging by strobe light emission is underwater photography; and second white balance coefficient calculation means for calculating a second white balance coefficient from the first white balance coefficient and the subject distance calculated by the subject distance calculation means when the subject distance calculated by the subject distance calculation means is less than or equal to a prescribed distance.
