PURPOSE: A social travel service system and a method thereof are provided to enable users to register travel products, such as travel spots or travel courses, and earn profits by selling the products. CONSTITUTION: A social travel service system comprises a social travel service processing layer (100), an interface processing layer (200), and a database processing layer (300). The social travel service processing layer comprises a member management unit (110), a mileage management unit (120), a prepaid point management unit (130), a travel product management unit (140), an event mission management unit (150), a merchant management unit (160), a partner company management unit (170), and a payment service management unit (180). The member management unit manages member-related information, including registration, modification, deletion, service usage, product selling history, commission of users, in relation to the members. The event mission management unit manages event missions in general, including registering and selling event mission products and sub mission items. The database processing layer includes at least one of member information, travel product information, event mission product information, course item information, mission item information, member commission information, merchant commission information, partner company commission information, product selling information, product usage information, product refund/cancellation information, prepaid point charge information, and mileage information.
