PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical component which can prevent damage on an output mirror while simplifying the adjustment of fixing position of the output mirror, and to provide a laser light source device and an image display device using the same, and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: The output mirror 100 of a green laser light source device 2 includes a base 110 consisting of a glass substrate, a protrusion 120 formed on the base 110 by dry etching, a groove 130 formed in the base 110 on the outer periphery of the protrusion 120 as the dry etching progresses, and a film 140 formed on the convex of the protrusion 120. The manufacturing process of the output mirror 100 includes a resist step for coating the glass substrate 101 with a resit 102, and an etching step for forming the protrusion 120 on the glass substrate 101, coated with the resist 102, via the resist by dry etching. |
