PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance durability of a lead-acid battery while preventing decrease in capacity.SOLUTION: The liquid lead-acid battery for idling stop vehicle includes a positive electrode plate consisting of a positive electrode active material and a positive electrode grid, a negative electrode plate consisting of a negative electrode active material and a negative electrode grid, a separator separating the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate, and a fluid liquid electrolyte immersing the positive electrode plate, the negative electrode plate and the separator. In the state after formation, the positive electrode active material has a density of 4.4-4.8 g/cm, and contains 0.05-1.0 mass% of Sn in terms of metal Sn. |
