PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a zirconia-based electrolytic sheet for a fuel battery suitable for reducing an undulation arising in the sheet with a low breakage rate.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the invention comprises (1) a process which includes the steps of: alternately laminating ceramic spacers and zirconia-based green sheets to prepare first laminates composed of the ceramic spacers and the green sheets; and then baking the green sheets in the first laminates at a predetermined temperature, and (2) a process which includes the steps of: laminating the baked zirconia-based sheets obtained in the baking step of the process (1) to prepare a second laminate having a peripheral edge portion for providing; and then baking the second laminate while applying a predetermined load to a portion of the second laminate at least partially including a peripheral edge of the second laminate so that a loaded area of the portion subjected to the load application is 5-50% of the sheet area. In the method, the number of the baked zirconia-based sheets forming the second laminate is 5-100. |
