The present invention relates to a passenger vehicle of the hardtop type provided with a driver's seat and passenger seats. The passenger vehicle comprises a chassis and a body with a passenger compartment comprising an at least substantially U-shaped roof construction, which covers at least some of the seats of the vehicle, which roof construction can be removed over at least some of the seats.
