PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone which receives television broadcast and outputs images and sounds, capable of reducing unnecessary power consumption when a user listens to television sounds as BGM without viewing television images.SOLUTION: The mobile phone which has a function of receiving television broadcast, comprises: output means for outputting images and sounds relating to television broadcast; display means for displaying the images outputted by the output means; operation reception means for receiving a predetermined operation; and control means which, if receiving an operation representing the interruption of the output of the images while the images and the sounds are outputted, inhibits the output of the images by the output means and causes the display means to display a standby screen containing a remaining battery life. |
