PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for improving a torque ripple during failure.SOLUTION: A motor driving system comprises: a 5-phase motor 20; a 5-phase inverter 10; a power relay 30 configured to block power supply to any of coils using plural contact points inserted in respective coils star-connected to each other; and a control section for controlling driving of the 5-phase motor by generating control signals of the 5-phase inverter 10. The control section releases the contact point of the power relay 30 corresponding to a failed phase when one or more phases of the 5-phase motor 20 are failed, to drive three or more phases of almost identical intervals among the remaining phases. The control section controls a current value of each of the three phases to extinguish a pulsation component of a torque generated by driving the three phases. |
