PURPOSE: A multimedia reproduction device and method are provided to enable two or more users to select multimedia corresponding to user preference when the users use one stereo plug. CONSTITUTION: A control unit of a multimedia reproduction device generates a first audio signal by processing first multimedia data(S610). The control unit generates a second audio signal by processing second multimedia data(S620). When the first audio signal and the second audio signal are different from each other, the control unit identically sets the first audio signal and the second audio signal(S630). The control unit reproduces the first audio signal through a left channel of an audio output device connected to a stereo plug and reproduces the second audio signal through a right channel(S640).
