PURPOSE: A device to cut refrigerant pipes is provided to improve productivity by removing an additional process to remove burrs and shortening the time to process a cutting process and to obtain clean cutting surfaces. CONSTITUTION: A device to cut refrigerant pipes (W) comprises a refrigerant pipe cutting unit. The refrigerant pipe cutting unit includes a pair of upper and lower cutter units (120), a pair of side forming tool units (140), a cutter mount (100), and a cutter operating unit. The upper and lower cutter units form a 'V'-shaped cutting line with a specific depth on the surface of the refrigerant pipe and timely strike upper and lower surface of the refrigerant pipe to level an edge of the 'V'-shaped cutting line. The side forming tool units timely strike left and right lateral surfaces of the refrigerant pipe and form a 'V'-shaped notch with a specific depth. The cutter mount installs the side forming tool unit to be slid facing the left and right lateral surfaces. The cutter operating unit rotates along the circumference of the cutter mount and alternately transfers the side forming tool unit and the upper and lower cutter units at every rotation. |
