INFECTIOUS CDNA CLONES OF FOOT-AND-MOUTH DISEASE VIRUS OF TYPE O AND THE COMPLETE SEQUENCES OF THE CLONES

PURPOSE: A cDNA clone is provided to acquire basic knowledge related to replication, expression, and infection of foot-and-mouth disease virus, and to be used vaccine and diagnostic materials, thereby resolving problems of existing inactivated vaccines. CONSTITUTION: A cDNA clone is prepared using foot-and-mouth disease virus with a base sequence of sequence number 1. The clone is prepared using foot-and-mouth disease virus with a base sequence selected from a group consisted of base sequences of sequence numbers 2, 3, 4, and 5. The clone identifies replication and expression difference of a replicon by manipulating untranslated region (UTR) or T7 promoter site of the clone with a base sequence of sequence number 5. In the clone, G is added at 644nt G and C is substituted with T at 9602nt in T7 promoter. A replicon clone has a base sequence of sequence number 6.
