PURPOSE: A multicast service method and an apparatus thereof are provided to reduce load of a network and to supply a high quality service when supplying a multicast service. CONSTITUTION: A receiver divides original multicast data into a plurality of multicast data. The receiver receives a first transmission frame from a base station. The first transmission frame includes a plurality of multicast streams having respectively different data rates. A discriminating unit confirms the multicast stream. The discriminating unit transmits a report message to the base station.
