PURPOSE: A gabion structure and an afforestation method using the same are provided to enable the planting of various plants by installing steel pipes for vegetation on a gabion. CONSTITUTION: A gabion structure comprises a hexahedral mesh(10), vertical members(11), horizontal members(12), and one or more steel pipes(13) for vegetation. The vertical members are formed in the touching positions of side surfaces. The horizontal members are formed in the touching positions of the side surfaces and a bottom surface. The steel pipes are fixed to the mesh, and plants are planted thereon. |
