FIELD: construction.SUBSTANCE: as wheels are moved with a crane on rail tracks laid on crane rails or main beams of bridge crossings, their bending torques and transverse forces change, and the latter define material intensity of the entire girder system. To reduce bending torques and transverse forces in crane rails as wheels move in a coupling of a pair of bridge cranes along rails laid onto crane rails, the pair of bridge cranes is fixed relative to each other at such distance so that the distance between nearest wheels of the first and second cranes is equal or more than the maximum distance between wheels of balance trucks of every bridge crane.EFFECT: reduced material intensity of crane structures by reduction of external effects of a coupling from a pair of bridge cranes moving at a permanent fixed distance from each other.4 dwg, 3 tbl |
