PURPOSE: An inverse segregation detection system is provided to detect the inverse segregation of an Mg alloy plate formed by strip casting effectively and easily. CONSTITUTION: An inverse segregation detection system (101) includes an infrared ray source (IR), an infrared temperature measuring device (110), and a control unit (150). The infrared ray source irradiates radiation to a measurement object (200) of a plate shape. The infrared temperature measuring device measures the emissivity of the measurement object. The control unit analyzes data signals measured by the infrared temperature measuring device, thereby detecting a portion of the inverse segregation.
