PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducer capable of discriminating application.SOLUTION: A reproducer 100 discriminates which of application for movement and application for stationary the application of the reproducer 100 is, and reproduces content of a BD 116 by a reproduction method according to the discriminated application. A position acquisition unit 134 acquires reference position information 113 which is information regarding a position in reference and current position information 114 which is information regarding the current position. A movement determination unit 136 determines whether or not the reproducer 100 moves by comparing the reference position information 113 with the current position information 114. An output unit 140 outputs the content of the BD 116 in a predetermined simple mode when it is determined that the reproducer 100 moves by the movement determination unit 136. When it is determined that the reproducer 100 does not move by the movement determination unit 136, the output unit 140 outputs the content of the BD 116 in a predetermined stationary mode as a reproduction method different from the simple mode. |
