<p>PURPOSE: A grid-connected system for monitoring and controlling a street lamp is provided to efficiently supply power using natural energy, thereby stably managing the street lamp. CONSTITUTION: A grid-connected system for monitoring and controlling a street lamp includes a generating device, a grid connected inverter (130), a street lamp controller (140), and a distribution box controller (200). The generating device generates direct current (DC) power through solar power generation. The inverter convers the DC power to alternating current (AC) power. The street lamp controller turns on the street lamp using the AC power, and monitors respective power generation amounts and current leakages in the street lamps. The distribution box controller controls whether or not the street lamps are turned on according to the power generation amounts.
