PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately obtain absorption distribution from a detection signal even in such a case that a change is generated in an optical pulse waveform with a photoacoustic signal processing device.SOLUTION: A photoacoustic signal is generated in a subject by irradiating the subject with light. The photoacoustic signal is detected by a probe 11 to be sampled by an AD conversion means 22 through a reception circuit 21. An optical waveform measuring means 25 measures the time waveform of the light intensity of the pulse laser beam applied to the subject. A differential optical waveform deconvolution means 26 deconvolves the light pulse waveform measured by the optical waveform measuring means 25 from the detected photoacoustic signal. By this deconvolution, the absorption distribution is obtained. |
