Provided are: a wear-resistant fiber-reinforced composite material wherein a sprayed film having excellent bonding strength is formed without being provided with an undercoat layer or a top coat layer having ceramic particles entered; and a method for manufacturing the wear-resistant fiber-reinforced composite material. A wear-resistant fiber-reinforced composite material (1) has a sprayed film layer (4) as the outermost layer. The material has: a fiber-reinforced plastic base material layer (2); a glass fiber-reinforced plastic layer (3), which is laminated on a surface layer of the fiber-reinforced plastic base material layer (2); and a sprayed film layer (4), which is formed on a surface layer of the glass fiber-reinforced plastic layer (3) by spraying.
