PURPOSE: A hydrodynamic bearing assembly and a motor with the same are provided to control bubbles existed in lubricating oil, thereby obtaining the stability of driving the motor. CONSTITUTION: A hydrodynamic bearing assembly(110) comprises a fixed member and a rotating member. A bearing gap formed between the rotating member and the fixed member is charged with oil. The rotating member is relatively rotated. The fixed member includes at least one bubble collecting groove(116) in a portion where the rotation member faces in the portion where the bearing gap is formed. The bubble collecting groove is formed into a columnar ring shape along the circumferential direction.
