摘要 The invention relates to a combination tool (1) for producing a surface structure with undercuts in a surface of a workpiece, which in particular is a cylinder block of an internal combustion engine, wherein the combination tool (1) comprises at least two guide bars (9), a material-removing cutting tool (5) and a shaping tool (6), the cutting tool (5) has at least one structuring tooth for forming a groove-like depression in the surface, and the cutting tool (5) and the shaping tool (6) are arranged so as to project beyond the guide bars (9). The invention further relates to a method for producing a surface structure with undercuts in a surface of a workpiece, which is in particular a cylinder block of an internal combustion engine, in which, in a first method step, uniform groove-like depressions are introduced into the surface and, with a time offset in relation thereto, in a second method step, the lands arranged between the depressions are deformed plastically in such a way that undercuts are formed in the depression. In order to permit the plastic deformation of the land structure in order to form the undercuts with little expenditure of force, according to the invention a combination tool (1) in which the shaping tool (6) is a sphere or section of a sphere, and a method in which, in the second method step, a sphere is moved along at least one land as a shaping tool (6) for the plastic deformation of said land are provided.
