PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for injecting a plastic lens raw material, by which the level of the raw material liquid in a mold can be easily set to a predetermined height position and the waste of the raw material liquid can be reduced. SOLUTION: The method for injecting the plastic raw material liquid includes: a discharge pipeline connecting step of connecting a discharge pipeline 21 and the mold 70 while a discharge valve 24 is closed; an injection pipeline connecting step of connecting an injection pipeline 11 and the mold 70 while an injection valve 13 is closed; a flowing raw material liquid re-injection step of injecting the raw material liquid flowing in the discharge pipeline 21 to the mold 70 again by opening the discharge valve 24; an injection starting step of starting injecting the raw material liquid into the mold 70 by opening the injection valve 14; an injection stop step of closing the injection valve 14 and the discharge valve 24 when it is detected with a flowing-in detecting means 25 that the raw material liquid flows into the discharge pipeline 21; and an inject/discharge pipeline separating step of separating the injection pipeline 11 and the discharge pipeline 21 from the mold 70 while the injection valve 14 and the discharge valve 24 is kept closed.
