<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem associated with a conventional musical sound generation device allowing only music pieces to switch at every time of passing a predetermined point. <P>SOLUTION: An on-vehicle device includes: a scene management information storage part for storing scene management information containing music data, a replay start condition and a replay end condition, with them correlated with one another; a scene information obtainment part for obtaining scene information; an end condition obtainment part for obtaining a replay end condition corresponding to the scene information obtained by the scene information obtainment part; a music data obtainment part for obtaining music data corresponding to the scene information obtained by the scene information obtainment part; a music data replay part for replaying the music data; and a control part for determining whether the scene information matches the replay end condition obtained by the end condition obtainment part and instructing the music data replay part to end the replay of the music data. Further, the music data replay part ends the replay of the music data in accordance with the instruction from the control part.
