PURPOSE: A metal foam-containing metal-air battery is provided to continuously maintain porous structure by using a metal foam as an air positive electrode, and to control the structure of a catalyst layer. CONSTITUTION: A metal foam-containing metal-air battery comprises a positive electrode, a metal negative electrode, and electrolyte. A manufacturing method of the metal-air battery comprises a step of preparing a metal powder; a step of mixing the metal powder; a step of manufacturing a pellet molding the metal powder with a binder or space holder; a step of forming a metal foam by sintering the pellet; a step of processing the metal foam by cutting; and a step of manufacturing the metal foam-containing positive electrode.
