<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing brush improved in polishing speed and stabilized in polishing, and capable of uniformly polishing a chamfered part, in the polishing of the end face of a glass substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The polishing brush is provided with a rotary shaft and bristles planted therearound, and polishes the end face of a glass substrate laminate formed by laminating a plurality of glass substrates having end faces composed of a side face and a chamfered part via a spacer when necessary. The bristle has a flat shape part cut by a tilted plane tilted in relation to an axis of the bristle at an end, and a diameter d of a part other than the end of the bristle is larger than 1/3 of X and smaller than X (X/3<d<X) when assuming, as X, the sum of the length in the lamination direction of the chamfered part of the glass substrate and 1/2 of the thickness of the spacer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
