<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small thermoelectric generation machine for a vehicle capable of improving thermoelectric generation efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The thermoelectric generation machine comprises: a high temperature section provided inside a muffler, mounted to an outer periphery of an exhaust pipe for flowing exhaust gas from an engine, and heated by the exhaust gas; a low temperature section mounted to the outer periphery of the exhaust pipe and flowing cooling water inside; and a thermoelectric module that is an assembly of a p-type semiconductor and an N-type semiconductor, and that is mounted to the outer periphery of the exhaust pipe at a position between the high temperature section and the low temperature section, and generates electricity using a thermoelectric phenomenon due to a temperature difference between one side face and the other side face by heating one side with the high temperature section and cooling the other side face with the low temperature section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
