<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstacle detector for vehicle whose attachability to a vehicle bumper and whose workability are improved. <P>SOLUTION: An obstacle detector for vehicle includes an ultrasonic sensor 3 for detecting an obstacle existing within a prescribed range by receiving a reflection wave of an ultrasonic pulse signal transmitted from an ultrasonic microphone 34, a fixing member 2 for fixing the ultrasonic sensor 3 to a vehicle bumper 1, and a coupling piece 32 for holding the ultrasonic sensor 3 to attach the ultrasonic sensor 3 to the fixing member 2. The fixing member 2 includes a fixing piece 21 having an attachment face to the bumper 1 and a coupling piece 22 to be connected to the coupling piece 32, wherein a width dimension of a side far from the coupling piece 22 in the fixing piece 21 is set to be smaller than a width dimension of a side close to the coupling piece 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
