<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spindle motor that can prevent lubrication fluid from collecting when the lubrication fluid is injected. <P>SOLUTION: The spindle motor includes: a lower thrust member fixed to a base member and having an extension part extending to the axial upper side; a shaft having a lower end fixed to the lower thrust member; a sleeve installed in the shaft rotatably; an upper thrust member fixed to the shaft on the upper side of the sleeve; and a rotor hub rotating in interlocking with the sleeve.
