<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method by which the foam whose surface is beautiful can be stably produced using environment-friendly carbon dioxide as a foaming agent, and to provide a polystyrene-based resin extruded foam. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a polystyrene-based resin extruded foam includes: heating and melting a polystyrene-based resin by an extruder; adding a foaming agent comprising carbon dioxide and other foaming agents; and cooling the foaming molten resin and subsequently extruding the same through a die slit section into a low pressure region to mold it in a plate-like form just after releasing the pressure by using a forming mold. The extruded polystyrene-based foam with a beautiful surface of the foam can be obtained by extrusion-foaming the material to the low pressure region at a pressure release velocity at the die slit section of 80-600 MPa/sec. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
