<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing a protection film of a display panel is provided to detach the protection film from a display substrate with a constant force and a constant speed, by attaching a removal film on one side of the display substrate and then grasping an end part of the removal film to move upward the substrate. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for removing a protection film of a display substrate includes a tongs fixing unit(102), a tongs driving unit(106), a press(114) and a press driving unit(112). The tongs fixing unit is installed so that flat bottom tongs(104) are forwardly protruded on the bottom. The tongs driving unit is protruded toward the front so that flat top tongs(110) are located vertically under the bottom tongs, and is installed to move up and down by a tongs driving cylinder(108) connected to the tongs fixing unit. The press is installed in the front along the direction where the bottom tongs and the top tongs are protruded. The press driving part moves the press up and down using a press driving cylinder(116). The top tongs grips a film removal tape as contacting with the bottom tongs in the lower part. The press pushes the film removal tape so that an adhesive surface of the film removal tape is attached to the protection film on the substrate.</p> |
