<p>Provided is a video image analysis device with which video data in which a plurality of images are aligned in time series is analyzed, and an observation object is identified which is included in the images, comprising: a differential data generating means for generating differential data by computing at least a portion of the difference between pixel values of a pixel of interest and other pixels which are present above, below, left, right, and diagonally to the pixel of interest in a given image and computing at least a portion of the difference between pixel values of other pixels which are present above, below, left, right, and diagonally to the pixel of interest in images before and after the image along the time axis, and storing the generated differential data in a storing means; and an observation object determination means for determining whether each pixel is associated with the observation object by comparing the difference data which is stored in the storing means with predetermined comparison data.</p> |
