An air-conditioner system in a base station and a control method thereof are provided to perform alternate/simultaneous control of a plurality of air-conditioning units by a base station controller, and to achieve operational control by the base station controller through a communication part and a communication format converter. An air-conditioner system in a base station comprises a plurality of air-conditioning units(1a,1b) and a base station controller(C). The air-conditioning units, which performs air conditioning within the base station for protection of communication equipment, comprises a controller(130,230) capable of controlling refrigerant flow and producing and outputting an error state signal, a communication part(110,210) serving as a gateway to the base station controller for signal transmission, and a communication format converter(120,220) converting communication format of the signal transmitted between the controller of the air-conditioning unit and the base station controller. The base station controller, connected to each air-conditioning unit by an output line, performs alternate/simultaneous control of the air conditioning unit in accordance with the internal temperature of the base station and a predetermined alternate operational cycle. |
