PURPOSE: A lighting system is provided to use external light as a light source, thereby reducing power consumption and improving uniformity of indoor illumination. CONSTITUTION: A lighting system comprises a first illuminator(10), a second illuminator(20), a third illuminator(30), an external light inducing device(40), an optical fiber(50), a common switch(60), a user interface(70), and a main controller(80). The first illuminator illuminates a first area(A1) that is the closest to a window(W) among indoor areas(IN). The second illuminator illuminates a second area(A2) that is farther than the first area from the window among the indoor areas. The third illuminator illuminates a third area(A3) that is farther than the second area from the window among the indoor areas. The external light inducing device is installed at an outdoor area and induces external light from the outdoor area to the indoor areas. The optical fiber uses total reflection for cutting losses of external light when moving the external light to the indoor areas.
