<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating machine capable of suppressing the grease filled in a bearing from being washed away. <P>SOLUTION: A drain hole 4e communicated with a space 8 configured between the bearing 6 and a seal member 7 with respect to a case 4 is formed. Accordingly, even when liquid in a liquid storage chamber 4a leaks into the space 8 beyond the seal member 7, the liquid can be discharged from the drain hole 4e. Further, an atmosphere introducing hole 4f which is communicated with the space 8 is disposed. Thereby, the inside of the space 8 can be kept at an atmospheric pressure and, even when the drain hole 4e is blocked with liquid, the liquid can be reliably discharged through the drain hole 4e. Therefore, even when the liquid leaks beyond the seal member 7 to the bearing 6 side while it is suppressed that the liquid in the liquid storage chamber 4a leaks from a gap between the case 4 and a rotating shaft 3 by the seal member 7, it can be suppressed that the grease filled in the bearing 6 is washed away. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
