PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data storage device for solving a security problem and a data management method of the data storage device.

SOLUTION: The data management method of a data storage device having a plurality of media includes the steps of: receiving the writing requirement of a file; dividing the file into a first portion and a second portion; decrypting the first portion; and storing the decrypted first portion in a first storage medium, and storing the second portion in a data unit in a second storage medium.
