The present invention addresses the problem of providing an assembled battery that restricts the expansion of a battery can while being provided with a cooling structure for a rectangular battery. The present invention is an assembled battery (81) wherein: a plurality of rectangular batteries (1) in which a group of flat wound electrodes (31) housed in a flat box-shaped battery can (11) is arranged in parallel, said flat wound electrodes (31) having a pair of planar sections (31P) that extends in a parallel manner and a pair of curved sections (31T) that is continuously formed between one end and the other end of each of the pair of planar sections (31P); and a cooling medium flows between the rectangular batteries (1). The assembled battery (81) is characterized by having boundary spacers (101) that are disposed between adjacent rectangular batteries (1), and that are positioned in positions facing boundary sections (31L) between the planar sections (31P) and the curved sections (31T) of the group of flat wound electrodes (31). |
