In addition, it is possible to avoid a decrease in the durability of the chain, and rattling of the external tooth plates and the like. In this engagement chain unit (110), a pair of engagement chains (111, 111) are formed so as to describe a square shape (SQ) on a chain-stiffening portion projection region (RG), which comprises the connecting pin projection regions (R1) of a chain-stiffening portion (110G), and the plate projection regions of hook-shaped internal teeth plates and hook-shaped external teeth plates, that is, plate projection regions (R2) that are formed with adjacent hook-shaped internal teeth plates (111A) and hook-shaped external teeth plates (111B).</p> |
