<p>Provided is an engagement chain unit with which it is possible to avoid increased chain manufacturing and maintenance costs, an increased number of assembly steps, decreased assembly precision, increased energy loss during driving, limitations to the installation space, twisting of the engagement chain, falling out of connecting pins from external tooth plates, falling out of bushings from internal tooth plates, and tilting of connecting pins with respect to the external tooth plates. In addition, it is possible to avoid a decrease in the durability of the chain, and rattling of the external tooth plates and the like. In this engagement chain unit (110), a pair of engagement chains (111, 111) are formed so as to describe a square shape (SQ) on a chain-stiffening portion projection region (RG), which comprises the connecting pin projection regions (R1) of a chain-stiffening portion (110G), and the plate projection regions of hook-shaped internal teeth plates and hook-shaped external teeth plates, that is, plate projection regions (R2) that are formed with adjacent hook-shaped internal teeth plates (111A) and hook-shaped external teeth plates (111B).</p> |
