<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an overcurrent resulting from an anomaly that a voltage of a low potential side terminal of a shunt resistance is about a ground potential without using an excessively high voltage as a circuit supply voltage. <P>SOLUTION: A detection current output section 11 inputs thereinto terminal voltages of a shunt resistance Rs, and outputs a detection current depending on a current flowing through a load 2 on the basis of the input voltages. An overcurrent determination section 12 determines whether or not an overcurrent is flowing through the load 2 on the basis of the detection current. The detection current output section 11 has a first diode D1 and a second diode D2 interposed in opposite directions in paths between a region to which a voltage about a driving supply voltage Vd is normally applied and a region to which a voltage about a circuit supply voltage Vc is applied, to thereby prevent a first transistor T1 and a second transistor T2 from breaking down to cause current flows. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
