<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator which can be manufactured at a low cost while ensuring excellent safety. <P>SOLUTION: This disk type gas generator 100A includes a housing including a storage chamber for storing a gas generating agent 141, and an igniter 130 for burning the gas generating agent 141 after start-up. The housing includes a metallic partition wall part formed by arranging through-holes 123 in a part for separating the storage chamber from an external space of the storage chamber, and resin closing members 160A each closing the through-hole 123 and formed by arranging a recessed hole part 165 so that at least a part of the recessed hole part reaches the inside of the through-hole 123. The closing member 160A has an orifice part arranged for covering a surface of the partition wall part of a part for regulating the through-hole 123 so that the opening area of the hole part 165 in the through-hole 123 is smaller than the opening area of the through-hole 123, and a fragile shielding part for regulating a bottom surface of the hole part 165. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
