<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system, an information processing method, and a program that enable a general user without technical knowledge of a network to easily get a mobile communication terminal to participate in a home network. <P>SOLUTION: An ID management device 100, if it receives a connection request from a second terminal 120, selects a terminal having an identifier common with the second terminal 120, and transmits the connection request. First terminals (131-135) comprise a first control unit which, if there is a connection request, transmit a first virtual address allocated in a first network 130 to the second terminal to generate a first virtual network interface having the first virtual address in the first network.
