<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor of a permanent magnet type rotary electric machine that can prevent a magnetic flux from leaking and a permanent magnet from rising in temperature, and the permanent magnet type rotary electric machine. <P>SOLUTION: A rotor 1 includes a rotor core 3 formed by stacking a plurality of magnetic steel plates 30, and a plurality of permanent magnets 5 buried in the rotor core 3 in an axial direction. The rotor core 3 includes magnet accommodation parts 32 where the permanent magnets 5 are inserted and arranged respectively, and each of the magnet accommodation parts 32 includes a communication part 321 which is opened to an outer peripheral side. A distance L1 between a rear outer peripheral end 341 of a rear surface 34 between a pair of wall surfaces forming the communication part 321 and a center axis P of the rotor core 3 is larger than a distance L2 between an outer peripheral end 331 of a front wall surface 33 and the center axis P of the rotor core 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
